Simple Weight Control with Hypnosis

Americans are collectively getting fatter all the time.  What with fast food restaurants and a plethora of fatty and sugary snacks, it is no wonder that weight per person is increasing.  There exists, however, hypnosis for weight control that can change the way a person thinks, feels and acts around food and dieting.  A person can attend one or more hypnotherapy session and can get hypnosis by a qualified hypnotherapist.

During such a session of hypnosis to lose weight, the hypnotherapist puts the client into a peaceful and relaxed hypnotic state.  The individual is then more susceptible to suggestions given to them by the hypnotherapist and will incorporate the suggestions into their own thinking and feeling about food.  Suggestions are tailored to the individual’s issues but can include things like “You will avoid sugary food and snacks” or “You will avoid fried foods and fatty foods” or “You will only eat organic, healthy foods”.  The mind hears these things and the individual wakes up feeling differently about the food they are taking in.  Permanent changes in their food behavior can take place after just a single session.

Sometimes the issue that comes up is self esteem.  The client feels badly about themselves and they don’t choose to stick with doing something good for themselves—like to lose weight.  A session on hypnosis for weight control addresses these self image and self esteem issues and helps the client feel beautiful about themselves regardless of what happens in their weight loss plans.  Believe it or not, it takes a good self image to lose weight effectively.  Suggestions can include things like “I love my body no matter what I weigh” or “I am proud of my attempts at losing weight” or “My spouse loves me at the weight I am at”.  All of these things are tailored to the individual and help improve the way their mind thinks about their bodies as they are losing the weight.
