One of the best ways to lose weight is to undergo hypnotherapy and weight loss can rarely be accomplished on one’s own; weight loss coaches are often only partially effective. A hypnotherapist, on the other hand, has the ability to make striking changes in the behavior of the weight loss subject, simply by inducing them into a trance and giving them suggestions while under the trance.
A hypnotherapist sees lots of different clients for hypnotherapy and weight loss clients make up a great proportion of them. These clients are put into a hypnotic trance through the process of induction and are given specific suggestions that help them eat healthier, eat less and exercise more. Some of the suggestions include “You will only eat healthy foods” or “You will only eat foods that help you lose weight”. The hypnotherapist continues with these suggestions until the urge to eat gets less and less.
The hypnotherapist also directs their work at exercising more. He or she puts the individual under a deep hypnosis and then gives them suggestions like “I feel the urge to exercise every day” or “Exercise is important to my exercise plan. In hypnotherapy and weight loss, the weight loss can be really profound and the role of the hypnotherapist is to continue to monitor the weight loss of the client, putting them under hypnosis in order to beef up the program and making sure they don’t go overboard.
When it comes to hypnotherapy and weight loss, this is one of the issues that can be most affected by hypnotism. Weight loss is one of the issues many people see a hypnotherapist for. This is one of the problems that can sometimes take only one session for it to work. The hypnotherapist’s role is to decide if one session is enough or if there needs to be several sessions in order for proper weight loss to occur. If more than one session is required, the hypnotherapist schedules those and tailors them toward the various aspects of proper weight loss, such as portion control, eating healthy food, exercise and feeling positive about oneself.
For example, in hypnotherapy and weight loss issues, problems around feeling positive about oneself are an important thing to tackle. Those who are losing weight often struggle with poor self esteem. It is the job of the hypnotherapist to bring that self esteem up using hypnotic suggestions like “You are beautiful just as you are” or “You love your body as you are losing your weight” or “People will love your body when you lose weight”. These suggestions teach the subject that their body is loveable as it is and they needn’t hate their body.
The hypnotherapist may follow the individual throughout their weight loss process. Some people need to be hypnotized several times if they fail to continue the weight loss process. The hypnosis can focus on body image, on eating less and fewer calories, and on exercising more and more effectively. In hypnotherapy and weight loss, issues come up all the time and need addressing as the weight loss process continues.
